Whether you're feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, facing a significant transition, or simply sensing that something needs to change, counselling offers a safe space to explore what's happening. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes, the first step is simply acknowledging that you could use some support.
I'm Caroline, a BACP registered counsellor offering integrative therapy for adults in Bracknell and online. With a background spanning corporate environments and charity work supporting vulnerable women, I bring a breadth of experience in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.I work with clients experiencing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, and overwhelm, as well as those navigating life transitions, midlife crossroads, perimenopause and menopause, relationship patterns, and the journey towards greater self-awareness. Whether you're looking for short-term support or a longer therapeutic relationship, I tailor my approach to what feels right for you.

Counselling provides a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. I don't believe in "fixing" people, because you're not broken. Instead, I walk alongside you, offering fresh perspectives whilst trusting that the answers you need are already within you. My role is to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you untangle what feels complicated. Through our collaborative work together, many clients find they develop greater self-awareness, make peace with their past, navigate difficult transitions with more confidence, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others.
People come to counselling for many reasons. Sometimes it's because life feels overwhelming or you're in the midst of a crisis that's hard to navigate alone. Other times, it's a quieter sense that something needs to shift. Perhaps you're navigating a major life transition, feeling the weight of a midlife crossroads, or noticing patterns in your relationships that no longer serve you. Maybe you're working through the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause or menopause, struggling with people-pleasing tendencies, or simply feeling stuck without quite knowing why. Some clients arrive with specific concerns, whilst others sense that something needs to change but can't quite name it. Whether you're in crisis or seeking support before things become overwhelming, there's space for your experience. Your reasons for seeking counselling are valid, and I'm here to help you explore them.
Thinking about counselling can feel daunting, but you've already started by being here. I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation where we can talk about what's brought you to this point and whether we might be a good fit to work together. There's no pressure, just an opportunity to see if counselling with me feels right for you.

This allows me to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will need to be paid for in full, unless in exceptional circumstances.
